So I'm a huge fan of tv. It's actually the only form of entertainment that can completely allow me to zone out and stop my mind from racing. I was that kid growing up who's mother always said "your brains are going to turn to mush because you watch too much television".
Well now that I'm older nothing has changed! However I no longer love tv like I did when I was growing up, I find that a lot more shows bore me and I can't find enough series to go through on Netflix before I'm looking for my next big show to watch. Because I am pretty active (not exercise active, just on-the-go kind of lifestyle) I listen to a lot of Howard Stern replays so I can be driving or editing my online shop and still not be bored. Sadly Howard is only on the air three days a week so I needed more content to fill my day with! I always swore of podcasts thinking they were just losers who couldn't get on the radio, that was until I actually gave them a try. I am obsessed with S-town. It's a true-crime show that documents the mystery surrounding a town in Alabama. All I will say is it includes a gay, some racists, and a whole lot of suspense ( it's effing fabulous)! Another podcast I'm loving is called Lady Lovin', hosted by Lo Bosworth, The Hills, and her friends. It's very genuine and they talk about all the things we think but don't always discuss. I really am loving the episodes where the guest is from some part of the fashion industry. I just look hearing about how these people got their start. It's so inspiring and hilarious all at the same time. I'm really desperate for a new book to read so if anybody has any suggestions please share!
